Now, the German rockers have rescheduled the five nixed shows in the late summer of this year and also have added two new concerts to their itinerary — in Stateline, Nevada, and Irvine, California.

The seven-date run gets underway on August 31 in Stateline and winds down on September 14 in Tampa, Florida. Queensryche will open all of the concerts.

“I am extremely happy to announce that The Scorpions have rescheduled all the remaining American dates that we were forced to cancel last fall due to my severe laryngitis,” says Meine in a statement. “I was so overwhelmed with all the love and well wishes from our fans when we had to cancel, that the band and I were determined to get back to the U.S. to make these dates up to our loyal and dedicated fans…We look very much forward to seeing you out there and get ready to ROCK!”

Tickets and VIP packages for all of the dates are available now at The-Scorpions.com. The band currently is on tour in Europe through an August 3 show in Bad Kissingen, Germany. After the U.S. gigs, The Scorpions will head to Australia and New Zealand in November.
