ABC/Andrea McCallinThe debut, self-titled album by Probot, Dave Grohl‘s heavy-metal side project, is being reissued on vinyl. The two-LP collection will ship in the middle of August, and you can pre-order your copy now via SouthernLord.com.

Released in 2004, Probot features instrumentals by Grohl and vocals by some of his favorite metal singers, including Motorhead‘s Lemmy, Venom‘s Cronos and King Diamond. It also features guitar by Soundgarden‘s Kim Thayil and a hidden track with Jack Black.

In a 2014 interview with NME, Grohl said he gets “asked to another Probot record all the time,” but admits he “can’t do it.” “Those were my favorite singers,” he said.

Grohl is currently on the road with Foo Fighters touring behind their latest album, Concrete and Gold.
