Remastered version of “Misty Mountain Hop” from Led Zeppelin's “The Song Remains the Same” reissue now streaming

Atlantic/Swan SongIn advance of the September 7 release of the remastered edition of the soundtrack to Led Zeppelin‘s 1976 concert film, The Song Remains the Same, the band has made available its performance of “Misty Mountain Hop” from the album via streaming services.

In addition, Led Zeppelin has posted an unboxing video for the Super Deluxe Box Set version of The Song Remains the Same on the group’s official YouTube channel.

The expanded collection includes two-CD and four-LP versions of the soundtrack; a two-DVD set featuring the entire The Song Remains the Same film, plus four bonus performances; a DVD-audio disc boasting 5.1 Surround Sound and PCM Stereo editions of the album and a high-def download card of the soundtrack.

But wait, there’s more: A 28-page book featuring photos and stills from the movie, and a new essay by acclaimed director and rock journalist Cameron Crowe; a replica of program from the film 1977 tour of Japan; and a high-quality print of the album’s cover.

The Song Remains the Same features highlights from Led Zeppelin’s July 27-29, 1973 engagement at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. In addition to Super Deluxe Box Set, the album will be available as a two-CD set, a four-LP vinyl package, a Blu-ray Audio disc, and in digital and streaming formats.
