
Credit: Timothy WhiteMichael McDonald will be taking it to the streets of New York City this fall: He’s announced a residency in Manhattan for October and November.
The 10-date engagement at New York’s Cafe Carlyle will coincide with the release of his new holiday compilation, Season of Peace: The Christmas Collection. The album, due October 12, brings together tracks from the various Christmas albums that McDonald has released throughout the years. It also features an original painting by the ex-Doobie Brothers member on the cover.
McDonald’s dates at the Cafe Carlyle run from October 23 through November 3. The residency comes in between his fall dates, which run from a September 9 show in St. Louis through a December 21 performance in Norman, Oklahoma.
