Reel Art PressAn official trailer for the upcoming photo book Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin, which will be published this October to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the band’s formation, has debuted on the rock legends’ official website and YouTube channel.

The video, which runs about one minute and 40 seconds, features a montage of various photos from Led Zeppelin‘s career, as well as a few brief film clips of the group in concert, all soundtracked by the band’s 1969 song “Good Times, Bad Times.” The trailer also includes video footage of copies of the hardcover book being printed and prepared for sale.

Among the photos seen in the trailer are candid individual and group shots of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham; pics of the band in concert, both early in its career and at the historic 2007 reunion show in London; and cover art and images from photo shoots for various albums. The video also includes quotes from each member of Led Zeppelin.

As previously reported, Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin is a 400-page tome officially sanctioned by the group and created with input from Page, Plant and Jones. The book features a career-spanning selection of photographs — many of them previously unpublished — and images of rare memorabilia from Led Zeppelin’s archives selected by the band members, along with newly penned anecdotes and recollections by the three musicians.

The book can be pre-ordered at ReelArtPress.com for as list price of $69.95.
