
ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica will play a charity concert in their hometown of San Francisco on September 26. The special event, dubbed Dreamfest, will raise money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
Dreamfest will be held in conjunction with San Francisco-based tech company Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference. The concert will be open to Dreamforce attendees, sponsor and donors.

Metallica will kick off a U.S. tour in support of their latest album, Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, this Sunday, September 2, in Madison, Wisconsin.
