Island Records/UMe Anthrax is reissuing its 1988 album State of Euphoria in honor of the thrash band’s 30th anniversary. The two-disc deluxe collection will be released October 5.

Along with a remastered version of the original album, the State of Euphoria includes a batch of B-sides and a live version of “Antisocial.” The second disc is a collection of demos curated from drummer Charlie Benante‘s personal archives.

State of Euphoria is the album that we always felt we never got to finish properly,” Benante says. “We wished we had had a little more time to spend on it. But, having revisited it while putting together this package, I really got to enjoy it again — it took me back to that time when everything was a whirlwind.”
