Donato Sardella/Getty ImagesA star-studded lineup of musicians will help Joni Mitchell celebrate her 75th birthday at a pair of tribute concerts scheduled for November 6 and 7 in Los Angeles.

The shows, dubbed JONI 75: A Birthday Celebration Live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, will include performances by Graham Nash, Kris Kristofferson, Los Lobos, Chaka Khan, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Seal, Diana Krall and others.

“I am very pleased to take part in these concerts honoring my friend Joni, without doubt one of the greatest writers we have,” says Nash.

Following the second show, which will take place on Mitchell’s actual birthday, an exclusive party honoring the legendary singer/songwriter called Soirée: JONI 75 will be held.  The charity bash will raise money for the L.A. performing-arts facility The Music Center and its various programs.

At the bash, Mitchell will be presented with The Music Center’s Excellence in the Performing Arts Award, recognizing her “pioneering spirit” and her musical and artistic achievements.

In addition to the award presentation, the Soirée: JONI 75 event will include a gala dinner and “special surprises.”

The JONI 75 concerts will feature a house band that includes several musicians who worked with Mitchell on one or more of her albums, including drummer Brian Blade, guitarist Greg Leisz and woodwinds player Bob Sheppard.

Single tickets to the concerts are available now at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion box office, at MusicCenter.org/Joni and by calling (213) 972-0711.  Special packages and prime seats for the November 7 show and post-concert party can be purchased at MusicCenter.org/Joni75Soiree and by calling (213) 972-4322.
