Courtesy of Julien’s AuctionsStage costumes, instruments and other collectibles from the likes of Mick Jagger, The Who, Paul McCartney and more are going on the auction block next month for a good cause.
U.K. charity The Prince’s Trust, which helps unemployed and struggling young people, is selling off the memorabilia at a November 10 event at New York’s Hard Rock Cafe and online at JuliensAuctions.com. Among the items up for bid are:
–A black leather motorcycle jacket custom-made for Jagger with The Rolling Stones‘ tongue-and-lips logo on the back that’s signed by the singer. Estimated price: $4,000-$6,000
–A white Gibson SG electric guitar signed by The Who’s Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, along with a hard case with “WHO” stenciled on it. Estimated price: $2,000-$4,000
–A super-deluxe anniversary edition of The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, signed and personalized for the winning bidder by McCartney. Estimated price: $2,000-$4,000
–A blue vest worn onstage by Eric Clapton. Estimated price: $4,000-6,000
–A red hockey jersey worn by Queen‘s Brian May at a July 2017 concert in Montreal, and signed in black marker by the guitarist. Estimated price: $2,000-4,000
–A metallic blue jacket from Rod Stewart, signed by the singer, as well as a pair of autographed metallic gold loafers, and a photo of Stewart performing that’s signed, “My favorite blue jacket is yours! Rod Stewart.” Estimated price: $800-$1200
–A custom-made black caftan with gold embroidered skulls and crosses with bat wings that Ozzy Osbourne wore onstage. Estimated price: $3,000-5,000
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. ET on November 10. Many of the items being sold will be displayed at the Hard Rock Cafe starting on November 5.
