Credit: Mark WeissOzzy Osbourne says he’s now “fully recovered” after contracting a trio of staph infections in his thumb, which landed the Prince of Darkness in the hospital and forced him to postpone four North American tour dates to 2019.
“I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your concern,” Ozzy says in a Twitter video. “My thumb is fully recovered now.”
Osbourne adds that he’s excited to make his post-surgery return to the stage for Ozzfest 2018, taking place in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.
“I need to rock n’ roll!” Ozzy exclaims.
Ozzfest 2018 will also feature Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Korn‘s Jonathan Davis, among others.
