The trek, which features more than 30 dates, is mapped out through a June 29 concert in Las Vegas. Fellow veteran British metal act Uriah Heep will support Judas Priest throughout the tour.

“Metal maniacs — Judas Priest is roaring back to the USA for one more blast of Firepower!” the band says in a joint statement. “Firepower 2019 charges forth with new first time performances born out of Firepower, as well as fresh classic cuts across the decades from the Priest world metalsphere. Our visual stage set and light show will be scorching a unique, hot, fresh vibe — mixing in headline festivals, as well as the in-your-face venue close-ups.”

The 2019 tour includes two-night stands in five cities: Huntington, New York; Albany, New York; Milwaukee; Austin, Texas; and San Francisco. Besides the headlining shows, Judas Priest will give a performance on the second day of the three-day Welcome to Rockville festival scheduled for May 3-5 in Jacksonville, Florida. Other acts on that day’s bill include Rob Zombie, Shinedown, The Cult and Black Label Society.

Judas Priest is winding down its 2018 tour itinerary with concerts on Tuesday, December 4, in Singapore, and Friday, December 7 in North Jakarta, Indonesia. Before the North American leg gets underway, the band will tour Europe from late January to early March, then will visit Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in March.
