Speaking to Bionic Buzz at the George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic tournament, vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell says that the co-headlining run with the nu metallers will be the grunge rockers’ final outing in support of their latest album, 2018’s Rainier Fog.

“The album we put out last year, Rainier Fog, by the time we’re done [touring behind it], we’ll have spent about two solid years on the road,” Cantrell says. “The Korn tour will be the end.”

The summer tour will kick off July 18 in Austin, Texas, and will wrap September 4 in Mountain View, California. Once it’s over, Cantrell says he and the band will “take some time off.”

Meanwhile, AiC is continuing to roll out episodes of their Black Antenna project, a 90-minute sci-fi film accompanying Rainier Fog.
