ABC/Craig SjodinOver the weekend, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder jammed together at the RHCPs’ annual Silverlake Conservatory of Music benefit concert.

The onstage team-up occurred at the end of the star-studded concert, with Vedder and the Chilis uniting for covers of Prince‘s “Purple Rain” and Bob Dylan‘s “All Along the Watchtower,” the latter of which skewed closer to the iconic Jimi Hendrix version.

Both RHCP and Vedder also performed their own, separate sets. Fan-recorded footage of the whole concert is streaming now on YouTube — the collaboration begins around the 45-minute mark.

Silverlake Conservatory is a Los Angeles-based music education program co-founded by Peppers bassist Flea.
