Sting and indie-pop group SHAED are featured guests on a catchy new song by superstar DJ Steve Aoki called “2 in a Million.”

The melody-rich track features the Police frontman and SHAED vocalist Chelsea Lee duetting over a danceable beat from Aoki. The collaborative tune is available now as a digital download and via streaming outlets.

“I am beyond excited about this collaboration with Sting and SHAED,” says Aoki. “SHAED is a group of incredible talent and Sting is just a legend. I’ve been a fan of his for as long as I can remember, so it’s surreal to have him on one of my songs.”

Regarding his participation in the track, Sting notes, “To me, the greatest element in music is surprise, so I’m always open to collaborate with other artists, as you never quite know where it’s going to take you. This sounded like an interesting opportunity and I’m excited for people to hear the new track.”

Adds SHAED, “We all grew up listening to Sting and The Police. He was a huge influence on all of us so when Steve approached us with the collab it was a no-brainer.”

All three acts are featured in the “2 in a Million” video, which you can watch now via YouTube. The clip was filmed at New York City’s historic United Palace Theater.  You’ll also be able to hear the track on Aoki’s forthcoming album, Neon Future IV.

As previously reported, Sting’s star-studded 30th anniversary Rainforest Fund benefit concert takes place this Monday, December 9, at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, and it has even more star power. The fundraiser’s lineup also features Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Blondie‘s Debbie Harry, James Taylor, Eurythmics and Bob Geldof, among others.
