Taylor Hawkins and David Grohl trade places for a performance of “Middle Child” on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Shanabelle/RCA RecordsFoo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and his band the Coattail Riders closed out Tuesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a performance of “Middle Child,” — with some help from Foo Fighters frontman David Grohl.

Taylor and Grohl swapped places for the performance, with Grohl handling the drums.

“Middle Child” is included on the new Coattail Riders album Get the Money, which was released last November.

The record is full of guest stars, including Grohl and Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Heart‘s Nancy Wilson, The Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde, Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, and even country singer LeAnn Rimes.
