Courtesy of Dead & CompanyGrateful Dead spinoff group Dead & Company released recordings of three full performances that the band gave during the 2019 edition of its Playing in the Sand concert and vacation event as part of the group’s digital concert series.
The shows took place on January 17, 19 and 20 at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and featured the group playing more than 50 different songs over the three concerts. The recordings are available as digital downloads and via streaming services, while high-res versions of the shows also can be purchased at Dead.net and LiveDead.co.
The 2019 Playing in the Sand concert recordings arrived just a few days before the 2020 installment of Dead & Company’s annual destination music and vacation extravaganza, which takes place January 16-19 at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancún, Mexico.
Later in 2020, all 29 concerts that Dead & Company played last year will be made available as digital downloads and via streaming services.
