ABC/Image Group LAOzzy Osbourne is thanking fans for their support after he revealed earlier this week that he’d been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
“Thank you all so much for your well wishes,” the metal legend wrote in a Facebook post. “It means the absolute world to me. All my love, Ozzy.”
Osbourne announced the news alongside his wife, Sharon, during an interview Tuesday on ABC’s Good Morning America. Specifically, Ozzy’s been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s called PRKN 2.
“It’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body,” Sharon explained. “You have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day.”
Ozzy and Sharon will be presenters at the 2020 Grammys, held this Sunday, January 26. A new Ozzy solo album, Ordinary Man, is due out February 21, and Ozzy plans to embark on a North American tour in May.
