Credit: Danny ClinchPearl Jam has officially released “Superblood Wolfmoon,” a new track off the group’s upcoming album, Gigaton.
The fresh tune follows the lead Gigaton single “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” and is a bit more of a traditional Pearl Jam rocker in comparison to its dance-y, Talking Heads-esque predecessor. It also features a killer guitar solo, which is necessary for any song with the audacity to be titled “Superblood Wolfmoon.”
Pearl Jam previous teased “Superblood Wolfmoon” via an augmented reality app, which required you to point your phone at the moon to hear a preview. You can now download the full song via digital outlets.
Gigaton, the long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s Lightning Bolt, arrives March 27.
You can catch Pearl Jam on tour this spring in support of the new record, beginning March 18 in Toronto.
