Dave Grohl and company are up for the International Group award, as are The Killers, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem and Haim.
Upon learning of their nomination, the Foos tweeted, “Thanks @BRITs!!!! See you soon!” As previously reported, Foo Fighters will perform at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Royal Blood will compete for the British Group prize along with The xx, Wolf Alice, Gorillaz and London Grammar. Other nominees include Liam Gallagher for British Male Solo Artist, Beck for International Male Solo Artist, and Bjork for International Female Solo Artist.
