Slowhand will be joined at the shows by two special guests: ex-Fabulous Thunderbirds guitarist Jimmie Vaughan and acclaimed blues-rocker Gary Clark Jr.

Tickets for the concerts will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 16, at 10 a.m. ET, while Chase card holders will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting one day earlier via Ticketmaster.com.

Clapton’s backing band for the shows will include keyboardists Paul Carrack and Chris Stainton, bassist Nathan East, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II and drummer Sonny Emory.

Eric most recently played at Madison Square Garden last September. He currently has just three other shows on his 2018 itinerary: July 2 in Cologne, Germany; July 3 in Hamburg, Germany; and July 8 in London.

The London show is part of the annual British Summer Time concert series in Hyde Park, and also will feature Santana, Steve Winwood and Clark Jr.
