ABC/Craig SjodinPearl Jam opened their South American tour in Chile Tuesday, and during the show, Eddie Vedder dedicated the song “Come Back” to the late Chris Cornell. You can watch fan-shot footage of the performance now on YouTube.
Also during the concert, Pearl Jam gave their new song “Can’t Deny Me” its live debut. Vedder dedicated that track, the first preview of the band’s forthcoming new album, to the students of Parkland, Florida.
Pearl Jam’s South American tour concludes March 24 in Brazil, and they head to Europe in June. They’ll return to the U.S. in August for a series of stadium shows, including stops in Seattle, Chicago, Boston and Missoula, Montana.
