Steve Granitz/WireImageIn addition to her work as a visual artist, Frances Bean Cobain ventured into the music world recently when she uploaded a clip of her first original song on her Instagram. In an interview with E! News, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love was asked what she thinks her late father would think of her art.
“I don’t have an answer for that, because I don’t want to speak on somebody else’s behalf,” Frances says. “But I would hope that he would be just proud of the human being I am. Even if he didn’t like the art I put out, I would hope that he’d be proud of the human being I am.”
“That’s all I would ask of anybody in my life,” Frances adds.
Frances uploaded the song clip on the night before the 24th anniversary of her father’s death. She’s since deleted the post.
