ABC/Fred WatkinsDave Grohl welcomed a new member into the Foo Fighters family during the band’s show in Houston last week.
Before launching into a performance of “Big Me,” Grohl spotted a fan in the crowd holding a sign that read, “No dad — be mine?”
“Dude, I have three kids,” Grohl said. “You want to be my fourth kid?”
Grohl then dedicated “Big Me” to the 20-year-old fan, named Landon.
“The next four minutes…I’ll be your daddy,” Grohl declared. At the end of the song, Grohl invited Landon up on stage and encouraged the crowd to cheer for his “adoptive son.”
