If you can’t wait that long, you can listen to a brief clip of the song, posted to Alice’s social media. While it doesn’t feature any lyrics or vocals, the snippet does boast a heavy guitar riff reminiscent of the Queens of the Stone Age song “Sick, Sick, Sick.”
“The One You Know” will presumably be the first preview of the next Alice in Chains album, the follow-up to 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. The new record is due out later this year.
Alice in Chains is currently in the middle of a U.S. tour, which continues Thursday night in Washington, D.C.
