ABC/Andrea McCallinOn the first Foo Fighters album, Dave Grohl played every single instrument. Over 20 years later, he’s trying that method again for an ambitious new project.
Speaking to the Chicago Tribune, Grohl reveals that he recorded a 25-minute instrumental song, on which he again plays every instrument. Not only that, but he also filmed the recording process, showing him running from one instrument to another.
“When people would ask me, ‘Why are you doing this?,’ I’m always like, ‘I don’t know. Because I’ve never done it before?'” Grohl says.
