Credit: Mark WeissOzzy Osbourne has teamed up with the Omaze fundraising website to launch a contest offering a VIP experience that will give the winner and a guest the chance to be a member of the Metal Madman’s entourage for a day and to get a stage-side view of one of his concerts.
The campaign will raise money for Love Hope Strength charity, which hosts bone marrow drives at concerts and festivals to aid people suffering from blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma.
The contest winner and guest will be flown to Las Vegas for the October 13 finale of the recently launched North American leg of Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 trek at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. They also will receive accommodations at a four-star hotel, will be placed on Ozzy’s personal guest list and will travel as part of his entourage that day. In addition, the contest winner and guest will get to attend the soundcheck and a pre-show party, as well as having the option to watch the concert from the side of the stage.
If that’s not enough, the winner also will get a $500 gambling chip to use while in Vegas.
In order to enter the contest, fans can donate $10 or more at Omaze.com/Ozzy. Entries will be accepted until September 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT, and one grand-prize winner will be chosen randomly.
Osbourne launched the North American leg of his No More Tears 2 outing on August 30 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Prince of Darkness has just announced a European leg that gets underway January 30 in Dublin, Ireland.
