ABC/Randy HolmesAlice Cooper, Green Day and Perry Farrell dive into the vile depths of social media in the latest, music-themed edition of “Mean Tweets” on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The shock rocker reads a tweet from one curious music fan who observes, “Alice Cooper looked 65 in 1972. How is he still alive?”
Green Day drummer Tre Cool reads a tweet that asks why he “look[s] like the emo version of Ted Cruz?” That got a big laugh from frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, who adds that bassist Mike Dirnt “looks like [Vladimir] Putin.”
Another Twitter user asks Farrell, “How crazy are you on a scale from 1 to Perry Farrell?”
“Oh, I’m one hundred percent Perry Farrell!” the Jane’s Addiction frontman animatedly responds.
Other artists who participated in the “Mean Tweets” segment include John Mayer, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Chance the Rapper, Luke Bryan and Cardi B.
