Cleopatra EntertainmentAn English-language version of the 2017 German-produced documentary Come On Feel the Noize: The Story of How Rock Became Metal will debut on North American video-on-demand platforms on December 3. It’ll be available on DVD on December 17.
The movie features interviews with Led Zeppelin‘s Jimmy Page, Ozzy Osbourne, KISS‘ Gene Simmons, Metallica‘s James Hetfield, Deep Purple‘s Ian Gillan, Motley Crue‘s Nikki Sixx and Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider, among many other hard rock legends.
The film tells the story of heavy metal from the genre’s origins in the late 1960s through its commercial heyday in the 1980s and beyond. In addition to conversations with various well-known rock artists, the documentary also boasts a bunch of archival performance footage.
