Courtesy of 80s in the SandBilly Idol and Cheap Trick are among the many veteran music artists who will perform at the 2020 edition of the 80s in the Sand concert and vacation experience, scheduled for October 22-25 in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
The lineup for the fourth annual 80s in the Sand also includes Tesla, Belinda Carlisle of The Go-Go’s, The Hooters, Little River Band, Wang Chung, Firehouse, and Dramarama.
In addition, former MTV VJs Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and Downtown Julie Brown will serve as hosts during the extravaganza.
A number of actors who appeared in popular 1980s movies also will be on hand. They include Robert Hays from Airplane!, Robert Romanus from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Amanda Wyss from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Diane Franklin from The Last American Virgin, and Julia Montgomery from Revenge of the Nerds.
Besides the concerts, 80s in the Sand will offer a variety of other events and activities, including trivia, karaoke, beach yoga, aqua aerobics, pool parties and much more.
