ABC/Travis BellFoo Fighters will headline the first show at The Anthem, a new music venue opening in Washington, D.C. The concert takes place October 12, and tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. ET via TheAnthemDC.com.
The Anthem show will be the first Foo Fighters performance in D.C. since the band’s triumphant July 4, 2015 extravaganza at RFK Stadium. That concert was also Dave Grohl‘s first show back since falling off a stage in Sweden and breaking his leg.
Earlier this month, Foo Fighters premiered a thrashy new song called “Run.” The band is reportedly working on a new album, their follow-up to 2014’s Sonic Highways.
