Blackened RecordingsMetallica‘s new album Hardwired…to Self-Destruct will be reissued on pink vinyl for Ten Bands One Cause, an initiative to benefit Gilda’s Club NYC. Named after the late comedian and original Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner, the organization supports those diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers.
Other artists contributing to Ten Bands One Cause include Mastodon, Lucinda Williams and Gary Clark Jr., who also are reissuing recent albums on pink wax. For the full list of participants, visit 10Bands1Cause.com.
Last week, Metallica concluded its summer North American stadium tour in support of Hardwired. The band will kick off a European trek in September that will stretch all the way into May 2018.
