You can check out a 90-second preview of what Cavedweller will sound like in a video posted to Pearl Jam’s Twitter.
Cameron joined Soundgarden in 1986 and played on all six of the band’s albums. A year after Soundgarden first broke up in 1997, he joined Pearl Jam, and has played on every one of their albums since 2000’s Binaural. Cameron also handled drums in the grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog.
According to a listing on Amazon.com, Cavedweller will be released September 22. A week later, Pearl Jam’s film Let’s Play Two, a documentary about the band’s two shows at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in August 2016, will hit theaters.
