ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! hosted its third annual special (RED) episode Tuesday night to raise money for and improve awareness of the fight against AIDS. During the show, U2 frontman Bono, who co-founded the AIDS charity (RED), performed alongside Coldplay‘s Chris Martin.
The two musicians sang a duet of the pop standard “One for My Baby,” popularized by Frank Sinatra. The lounge-style performance also featured a cameo from actor Sean Penn as a bartender.
Other stars who appeared during the special included Bryan Cranston, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kristen Bell, Aston Kutcher, Rita Wilson and DJ Khaled.
The show also included Kimmel and most of his guests, including Bono, singing an updated version of “We’re Going to Hell,” a song first performed during the second annual (RED) episode.
U2’s new album Songs of Experience will be released this Friday, December 1. The band performs on Saturday Night Live on December 2.
